sympl

The primary core Sympl Command Line tools for administering the sympl system.

sympl-domain-list

sympl-domain-list lists domains and configured services.

sympl-encrypt-password

The command sympl-encrypt-password encrypts passwords in the specified format.

sympl-ip

sympl-ip lists IP addresses of the sympl server.

which-backup-space

which-backup-space determines which backup space is to be used.

sympl-check-etc-hosts

sympl-check-etc-hosts checks to see if there is a valid server hostname. This command must be run as sudo.

sympl-configure-ips

sympl-configure-ips automatically configure IPs for domains. This script uses the information provided by sympl domains to add IP addresses to the primary interface of a machine. The primary interface is defined as the lowest numbered interface that has a global, unicast route with a gateway, i.e. a default route.

sympl-filesystem-security

sympl-filesystem-security enforces/fixes the filesystem permissions for sensitive directories used by Sympl.

sympl-generate-dhparams

sympl-generate-dhparams regenerates Diffie-Helman parameters and chowns to the specified user.

sympl-password-test

sympl-password-test test user passwords for strength.

sympl-report-usage

sympl-report-usage is a basic reporting tool to assist sympl.io in tracking overall usage of services.

sympl-ssl

sympl-ssl manages ssl certificates for websites hosted on the sympl server.

sympl-watch-core

sympl-watch-core watches the system with inotify.
