Configuring DNS is not automatic in the current version of Sympl, however, Sympl 9.1 and 10.1 will support automatic DNS configuration using OctoDNS which supports a wide range of DNS providers.
In the meantime, you will need to configure DNS manually and should contact your current domain host to work out how to do this.
